The Trust benefits mainly from Grant Funding from some agencies like the Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) and Renfrewshire Council´s Economic Development Voluntary Sector Grants. The Hugh Fraser Foundation provided a one-off grant for the period 2009– 2010.
And RET also have a longstanding relationship with the Renfrewshire Council.
We have a long history of community engagement using classic community development methods to build community spirit and skills, supporting a wide range of local environmental projects – particularly community gardens, wildlife projects and school initiatives. These have been consistently used to encourage access to formal trainings and jobs, and to enhance community appreciation and understanding of sustainable development.
